The Indigo Youth Ambassador Program runs for six weeks each Tuesday and is facilitated by Anthony Nicholson from The Mandala Project and the Indigo Shire. Our BPS Junior Ambassadors for 2022 are Violet Carr and Eli Tomlinson.  It is terrific that we have the opportunity to engage with other students from across the shire through this program to develop our students’ leadership skills.

On Tuesday this week, the Junior Ambassadors from across the area presented speeches about what they learnt in the program, while putting into practice the public speaking training they received. The audience being Indigo Shire Councillors, council staff and families.  Eli and Violet talked about the importance of Values and what they mean to them, and their fundraising experiences in support of the Aturo Friendship Committee and their passion project – Crohns & Colitis Australia. Congratulations to our two BPS Ambassadors for 2022, Eli and Violet. They have been terrific representatives for our school and have both worked hard to fully engage with the program. We have seen their confidence blossom through this experience. We are very proud of their effort and engagement.
