Students in the Junior grades are currently focusing on an Australian Artist.

Grade Foundation O’B and Foundation/1W have been viewing and discussing the works of John Olsen.  John Olsen has produced many artworks with an emphasis on wetlands and the creatures within them.  Both classes are near completion of their ‘Frogs’ artwork.  The students have used oil pastels, black fine-liner pens and straw-blowing paint to achieve these amazing artworks.

Grade 1/2B and 1/2O’S are exploring the works of Ken Done.  We have been focusing on his use of contrast, in colour and movement.  These two classes are progressing well on their artwork and besides using oil pastels, they will add foam printing and water-colour paints to complete their final piece.
