Peter Benson – Piano Teacher

Peter Benson has been teaching piano at Beechworth Primary School since 1998, and he also teaches at other schools in Beechworth, Yackandandah and Myrtleford. He has 29 years of teaching experience with children from primary school age up (including adults); from beginners to advanced.

Peter has a Bachelor of Creative Arts majoring in Composition and Jazz Piano, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Music Education from the University of Wollongong. He has played piano professionally in many venues, including several five star hotels in Sydney, and worked as a freelance musician with various duos, trios and bands playing jazz, pop and rock.
