The Parents and Friends Association, is a fundraising group made up of parents in our school community. We meet to first socialise as parents and then to discuss and co-ordinate activities to help raise money for the school, and to enhance our kids and family enjoyment and wellbeing while at Beechworth Primary School.
There are many different ways that we raise money for the school, such as:
- Coordination of the stalls at the Show’N’Shine Car Show
- Raffles throughout the year
- Mother’s and Father’s Day Stall
- Barrowthon Team
- Creating a theme and costuming for our school in The Golden Horseshoe’s Festival
If you can’t make it to the meetings, or don’t wish to be part of the committee, you can still be involved by helping out on the days that we run our activities. Extra help is always welcome, so watch the newsletter for more information.
In the last few years, the money we have raised has gone towards this website, new technical equipment, take home readers and other school resources.
